Biography
Dylan Thomas nel 1934 pubblica la sua prima raccolta "Eighteen Poems", seguita da "18 Poems" (1936) e "The Map of Love"(1939). Nel 1940 esce "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog", raccolta di liriche autobiografiche. Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale lavora per la BBC, dove crea opere radiofoniche come "Under Milk Wood", pubblicato postumo nel 1954. Nel 1946 pubblica "Death and Entrances", raccolta che segna la maturità espressiva della sua poesia. Negli anni del dopoguerra tiene conferenze negli USA e diventa noto anche come dicitore. Pubblica prose famose come "Quite Early One Morning" (1954) e "Adventures in the Skin Trade" (1955).
