Harry Hiram Williams è nato il 23 agosto 1879 a Faribault, Minnesota (USA). È stato un compositore, regista e attore statunitense. Morì il 15 maggio 1922 a Oakland, California (USA). Una delle sue prime canzoni, scritta nel 1905 con Egbert Van Alstyne, fu la famosa In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree. A Hollywood, girò oltre venti film come regista e collaborò spesso con Mack Sennett alla Keystone. Si unì al The Lambs Club nel 1908.
